18 U.S.C. §2257 Compliance Statement

All visual depictions distributed on this website are exempt from the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §2257 and 28 C.F.R. §75, because all such depictions do not consist of actual sexually explicit conduct by real, identifiable persons. Every character, image and video generated on or displayed by Afterdark is entirely computer-generated ("synthetic") and does not depict any actual person, living or deceased.

No real-person content

Afterdark does not accept, process, or generate content from photographs or likenesses of real people. This is enforced as a platform-level rule in the generation pipeline, not merely a policy preference.

Verification and custodian of records

Because no actual performers are depicted, no §2257 records of actual performers are applicable or maintained. Should this compliance posture change (for example, if any feature involving real individuals is introduced in the future), this statement will be updated and appropriate §2257 records and a custodian of records will be established before that feature launches.
